Bishopteignton Primary School is a community school that has an excellent reputation within the learning community and Devon for providing high quality provision for all pupils. We are looking for dedicated, caring and committed people to join our fantastic team at Bishopsteignton and become part of our thriving learning community, starting in September 2023. There are two roles available working as part of our SEN teaching assistant team.
We have restructured our SEN support to give us greater flexibility moving forwards. These roles would start with two identified pupils but could change in the future. Our decisions are always based on what is best for our pupils.
You will have excellent communication skills, be confident to adapt the curriculum to the learning needs of the child where needed and also be committed to building a good relationship with the children, families and other adults in the class. Experience of working with a child with additional needs is essential.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
