No day is ever the same in Poppy Class, we all learn something new with and from one another. We have a superb team of experienced staff and equally amazing pupils and together we enjoy a wide range of learning experiences. Although the ARB is based within the Junior school, our pupils range from Early Years to Year 6 with a wide range of additional needs.

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for our ARB (Area/Additional Resource Base) to work 21 hours per week, term time only on a permanent basis. The hours worked will be across 3.5 days and negotiated with the successful candidate. Lunchtime and breaktime supervision are also a requirement of this role.

We welcome applications from those who are pro-active and flexible in their working practice as well as those able to ‘think-on-their-feet’ in challenging circumstances.

This is an opportunity to work for the most forward thinking Academy Trust in Cornwall – Aspire.  As an Aspire employee, you are in an organisation with endless opportunities for the future.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
