SEN Provision Supervisor - Dartmouth Academy (Education South West)
- Multiple Locations
- Full Time
- Grade D: £22,369 – £24,496 per annum, pro rata

The post is a fixed term contract to 31 August 2023.
Working as part of the SEN and Welfare Team, the SEN provision (Horizons) supervisor is an exciting role that is pivotal to supporting some of our most vulnerable young people with Special Educational Needs. Supported by the Academy Leadership Team, you will take a key role in supporting pupils in Secondary who need support to access to their bespoke curriculum. Young people flourish when their health, mental health and wellbeing is understood and prioritised: your role responds to circumstances in which young people may need help with this. You will be working alongside individual pupils as well as in small groups to ensure they are fully prepared to learn and are successful with the aim to support them accessing the curriculum, extra-curricular activities and improve their overall wellbeing.
This is a non-class based role and applicants would benefit from SEN interests/experience and a knowledge of safeguarding would be advantageous. This role would suit someone currently in school looking for a new opportunity, or starting out with an interest in the area. If you are passionate about ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive, this is the role for you.
Discussion and visits
Informal discussions with a member of the team are welcomed, as well as visits to the Academy. Please arrange a suitable time with Vicki Hart at vicki.hart@dartmouthacademy.org.uk
