Room Leader - The Dolphin Pre School and Nursery

The Dolphin Pre-school and Nursery has a vacancy for a Room Leader to join their very well established team. Working with children in our Pre-school room with children aged between 3 and 4 years old the role will involve working 40 hours a week over 5 days. 

Hours are negotiable but based around Monday – Friday 7.30-18.00.

We are looking for a cheerful and motivated team member who is passionate about working with young children both indoors and outdoors. 

You will need:

• A full and recognised early years and childcare qualification at Level 3 (NNEB, BTEC, NVQ in CCLD, Early Years Educator) or above
• Proven experience in a busy childcare environment and a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum
• Open and welcoming, patient and caring with a flexible approach to your working patterns
• Excellent IT and organisational skills.
  
   

You will ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to, provide a stimulating and safe environment for the children and keep records of care and development of the children as required.
