We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Reward Adviser to help shape and support the operational delivery of our Reward strategies. Joining our Policy, Reward and Relations team you will undertake a varied role working to deliver business as usual and transformational activity.
As a Reward Adviser, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our reward policies and practices. As a team we have high ambition to make a real impact across our workforce, ensuring our Reward offer attracts, retains, and motivates our workforce, while ensuring we are a sustainable Council for the future.
The team have responsibility for essential business as usual activity including job evaluation and promoting and developing our Benefits Platform.
Who you are
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Reward professional with a proven track record of delivering Reward solutions and working effectively as part of a team. We are looking for candidates who:
- Are self-motivated and driven
- Can conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure our reward packages are competitive and equitable
- Have highly effective research skills with ability to interpret and apply to organisational objectives
- Ideally trained in both GLPC and Hay scheme trained
- Bring attention to detail with the ability to analyse and effectively harness HR data, while always considering the use of technology to ensure efficiency
- Are customer focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills which build effective relationships
- Think creatively, with the ability to turn ideas into tangible outcomes
You will play an important role in shaping and enhancing our reward offer to support our people and contribute to their overall wellbeing and job satisfaction, and to attract, motivate and retain top talent within the organisation.
