Required to start as soon as possible.

Marine Academy Primary are delighted to be part of The Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust - a values driven, rapidly growing Trust with a relentless focus on transforming lives through learning by delivering outstanding outcomes for every student, regardless of background. Our priority is to ensure that our children, regardless of socio-economic background, can grow, thrive and be successful. We have a reputation for highly successful school improvement in very challenging circumstances and we are passionate about driving up standards and raising the aspirations of all our students.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and extremely well-organised Receptionist to join our busy Administration team and work alongside the friendly staff at our twice Outstanding Primary Academy. You will be able to represent and model the professional and exceptionally high standards that we expect of our whole school community.

As our main contact on the Primary Reception Desk, you will be the face of Marine Academy Primary; taking calls, dealing with visitors, updating ParentPay and providing high level administrative support as part of the wider Administration team. You will be the first face that visitors to the Academy will see and therefore must be professional, welcoming and well-mannered in your appearance and approach.

We are looking for candidates who have professional and excellent communication skills (oral and written), a clear telephone manner, proven computer skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm under pressure. You will need to have the skills and sensitivity to deal with all members of our community and multi-agency partners and have experience of working within a school or busy office environment.

Applicants must be able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children, have positive relationships with Parents/Carers and be a good team member. Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths GCSE is also desirable.

As an outstanding school, we are able to provide you with excellent opportunities to develop further and would be able to provide the perfect introduction to school life for those considering a future role in education.

The Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and operate in accordance with the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. All applicants will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service check before an appointment is confirmed. This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

The Trust is committed to ensuring that our employees are able to achieve their full potential in an environment offering dignity, respect and equality of opportunity.

Please contact Siobhan Meredith, Headteacher, by emailing if you have any questions about the position and to apply.
Please apply by 9am on the closing date.
