We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and friendly person to join our committed and hardworking Pupil Support Team.
Candidates will need to be confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to provide an efficient friendly and caring support to our pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Teacher for Behaviour, Standards and Safeguarding and be a key point of contact for pupil enquiries during the school day.
Main duties within the role will be to support the administration of Early Help and manage the record keeping of safeguarding, behaviour and medical incidents. The role will include the supervision of pupils in the Pupil Support Office during the college day. The post holder will need to work flexibly organising their own workload and priorities.
The successful candidate will also be required to support the first aid team at the College acting as the first point of contact for pupils. First aid experience and qualifications would be an advantage, but training would be provided. The role will also include creating and updating medical health care plans and acting as point of liaison for the School Nurse.
This is an important role within the Academy, and we are seeking an individual who is committed to improving the experience of education for our pupils. This interesting and varied post is available for 35 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum (term time only), working Monday to Friday from 8.30 am – 4 pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break).
