Newton Abbot College is seeking to appoint a Protected Learning Room Assistant to work in our Protected Learning Room (PLR) that provides a safe and quiet space for students to take responsibility for their learning and learning behaviours so they can be successful in the classroom. You will work closely with the college’s support teams. This will directly include the Protected Learning Room Manager and two Inclusion Assistants who are dedicated and committed to providing the best support for our students. You will also work with the Heads of Learning and SEND department. The post holder will be a proactive and positive individual, who is student focused, calm, pragmatic and resilient.
The successful candidate will:
