Do you have experience of working within a local authority planning department and knowledge of planning legislation? We may have the perfect role for you, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Planning team as a Principal Planning Officer. You will take the lead in processing and enabling planning applications in relation to major development proposals and a range of minor schemes.
Our principal planning officers are responsible for their own caseload, preparing draft reports for planning committees, and coaching less experienced members of the planning team whilst providing a professional level of service to members of the public.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a degree/diploma in Town Planning or an equivalent qualification and experience of preparing and presenting reports to committee’s and other public hearings.
