Tiny Toes Preschool, a warm and welcoming pack-away preschool, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join our dedicated team as a Key Worker.
About us:
We are a community-based, pack-away preschool offering high-quality care and early education for children aged 2-4 years. Each day we transform our shared space into a rich learning environment and pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, inclusive setting where every child can thrive.
Your role:
As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a small group of children, fostering their development through a play-based curriculum in line with the EYFS framework. You will build close relationships with families and work collaboratively with the team to plan and deliver engaging activities that support each child’s individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education in a pack-away setting
- Set up and pack down the learning environment daily
- Act as a key worker to a group of children, monitoring and supporting their development
- Plan, observe, and assess activities in line with EYFS
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment
- Contribute to team planning, reflection, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a preschool or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable within a pack-away setting
- A caring, enthusiastic, and professional attitude
