Heavitree Community Preschool is a nurturing early years environment that promotes learning through play and  encourages children to become independent and creative learners. We do not operate in a classroom environment but provide children with all the key skills and attributes to become ready for their ongoing education at school.

We are looking for an experienced Preschool Leader to join our outstanding preschool team.

The post is for 35 hours per week, term time only.

The successful candidate must have experience of leading an early year's setting caring for children between 2-5 years and must have a learning through play ethos and is able to lead by example.

The candidate must be able to evidence comprehensive knowledge and skills within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The applicant must be able to demonstrate strong leadership, relationship and interpersonal skills and have demonstrable skills of leading an early years team.

We are looking for someone who can continue to lead our outstanding setting driving excellence across the early years curriculum and learning experiences. 

It is essential that the candidate has sound knowledge and demonstrable experience in promoting safeguarding equality and diversity within their leadership and practice.
