West Croft School is a large maintained school and nursery in the beautiful town of Bideford.
The successful candidate will deliver the third element of our PPA provision to Year 4 and Year 6 whilst also covering the same two classes every Monday and Friday.
You will work alongside our teachers and the other PPA leaders (PE Lead and Forest School Lead) to deliver outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for children during PPA.
You will adapt planning provided and have the skill set to deliver via excellent communication skills.
You will be confident in adapting the learning to the needs of the children and also be committed to building good relationships with the children, family and other adults in the class.
The post is fixed term to maintain the current staffing structure until July 2025.
West Croft has been graded as ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted, with the inspectors stating that ‘staff provide pupils with a rich variety of experiences which strengthen independence and build character’.
