Chagford Montessori Nursery School required a Nursery Practitioner.
You will work alongside an enthusiastic team following the Montessori approach with children aged 2 – 5 years. You will have a group of key children to settle in, plan for and write up observations. Day to day practice will require you to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS. You will also contribute creative ideas at team meetings for additional activities and be confident to lead these too. You will work with the SENDCo to support children with SEND, to write and implement IEP’s. Tapestry is the method of record keeping so some experience with this platform is desirable.
A Level 3 qualification in early years and childcare is essential. Up to date Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Level 2 are desirable.
In house Montessori training will be given as needed and CPD.
