We are seeking to appoint an Media/Audio Visual Technician to provide technical and administrative support for the ICT Network Manager working in a small friendly team.
St Peter’s Church of England Aided School are looking to appoint an Media/Audio Visual Technician to provide technical assistance for our Media department.
Reporting to the ICT Network Manager, the post holder will primarily be responsible for assisting and instructing staff and students in the use of audio-visual and digital video equipment. Typically this will involve supporting students with editing their work, setting up AV equipment around the school as required by teaching staff, assembly time; maintenance of classroom AV equipment, sound and studio facilities for the English / Media Department.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with a range of audio-visual software such as Adobe’s Creative Suite, Garageband and also have understanding and experience of a range of audio-visual equipment including microphones, video cameras and PA systems. You will be expected to interact with a range of people from students to staff and external visitors so excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
