Combe Pafford is a special school catering for pupils who have moderate difficulties and we have developed a clear vision to ensure our pupils get the best out of their education and are as well prepared for life and employment as they can possibly be!
To this end, we have developed an amazing range of specialist teaching facilities and this together with our small class sizes, 5 hours of non-contact time, enable teachers to both teach effectively and achieve a work/life balance!

We are looking to appoint a keen and enthusiastic teacher to enable our pupils to achieve qualifications in Entry Level, Functional Skills, and lower tier GCSE. This is a full-time permanent position, (we are also prepared to consider those looking for a temporary appointment for the summer term.
We are, of course, looking for the same excellent practitioners that everyone else is (whether experienced or ECT) but we also want the people we appoint to be team players who are keen, resilient, and committed to contribute and to help shape our continuous development. You will also need to be creative thinkers; you will be encouraged to be career minded and you will probably need your passport……visit our website for further details!
Previous experience of working in a special school or specifically with SEN pupils is not essential, we are looking to appoint the right person to join our school, appropriate training and support can be provided
