We are looking for a fun-loving, enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join us from October 2022
Join our well established, dedicated team with our ethos in mind, to encourage a warm and welcoming, family friendly environment, with a high level of customer satisfaction always.
If you are enthusiastic, love to have fun and enjoy being outdoors in the mud, being creative, an inspirational storyteller and sing a song or two (even out of tune!), you are the right person to join our team of well established, qualified staff.
As well as your qualification, a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (including September 2021 updates) is essential as we need a member of staff who is ready to take on Learning Journeys and report writing immediately. The candidate must also understand the implementing of activities to encourage next steps and follow a child’s interests.
Current Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding training and Food Hygiene are an advantage (however training can be arranged).
You must be available for flexible hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, to meet the needs of our nursery. Open all year, except Bank Holidays and Christmas period.
Our on-site kitchen provides meals for staff working during lunchtime – everything from a hearty roast to a warming curry!
Candidates must reach the requirements for staffing as set out in the EYFS.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
To apply, or for more information, please contact Sarah Sexon, Manager, by email: Office@stmichaels-nursery.org
Closing date: 30 September 2022.
Candidates are required to have proof of Right to Work in the UK.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This post is subject to Enhanced DBS check and references, to include your current employer. St. Michael’s Nursery is an equal opportunities employer. Suitable staff will meet EYFS welfare requirements.
We endeavour to be a sustainable nursery and expect our team to be passionate about caring for our planet too. Incentives are available for staff who walk or cycle to work .
