Mount Kelly is seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work one to one with a pupil at the Prep.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and will be flexible and sensitive to the needs of the child. Working within the Personalised Learning department the successful candidate will think creatively; have patience; show empathy and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The ability to support across a range of subjects is also required. A formal qualification e.g. NVQ level 3 or equivalent is desirable and the successful candidate will be able demonstrate an understanding of dyslexia.
The role is part time and temporary for up to one year. The usual working hours are 3.75 hours per day usually between 8:30 and 12:15 Monday to Friday for 34 weeks per year.
