The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our Trust, based at Ilsham C of E Academy.
Our vision at Ilsham C of E Academy is for every child to be confident and happy as we nurture their development and strive for success. We very much see ourselves as a family, working together as a community to remove barriers to learning so every child, even the most vulnerable, can flourish. Our Christian vision is: ‘To grow and flourish wherever you are planted’
We are proud of our rich and vibrant curriculum that stimulates children’s imaginations and creative thinking. At Ilsham, we provide a range of experiences and opportunities that are fully rooted in our local community.
This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will work alongside a highly passionate team to ensure children are cared for, inspired, and challenged. Our ideal candidate will have experience with RWInc and supporting and nurturing the needs of children with Special Educational Needs and will be committed to making a profound difference to the lives of our most disadvantaged children.
Our Trust is dedicated to building an authentic workforce, so if you are excited about this role but your past experience looks a little different to what we’ve identified, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may just be the perfect candidate!
We are looking for someone who is inspired by our Trust mission and can empower our children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to flourish. We are proud that we are a single organisation with a shared responsibility for all children, and one where you will feel professionally nourished through our extensive development practice and strong wellbeing offer.
We encourage applications from people from all backgrounds and aim to have a workforce that represents the wider communities that we serve. We champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging. Our People strategy enables us to nurture, develop and support our colleagues so that they can provide the very best for our children.
Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish. In short, our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
We can offer you:
• The opportunity to make a profound different to children’s lives
• A culture that takes work-life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
• The chance to work as part of a collective in a values-led school Trust, a single organisation
• High quality professional development and regular training
• Access to nationally recognised Level 2 and 3 course and apprenticeships
• A strong, proactive wellbeing network across the School Trust
• The potential for future career development
• Access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme
• Trust benefit schemes including tech and cycle schemes
• Generous Local Government Pension Scheme
• An impactful People Strategy that enables us to nurture, develop and support our colleagues so that they can provide the very best for our children
