The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Trust based in All Saints Marsh C of E Academy!
Lying at the heart of the community, All Saints Marsh serves the market town of Newton Abbot, just twenty minutes from Exeter and close to the stunning coastline of the English Riviera. All Saints’ Marsh is often described as the small school with a big heart where a strong sense of family runs through everything we do; we work closely with children, their families, and the wider community to foster and nurture relationships.
At All Saints’ Marsh, we pride ourselves on providing every child with a rich and engaging curriculum grounded in our Christian values. Our vision is “building lifelong foundations together”. We want to ensure that every child will achieve the very best they can by working closely with the community to provide a range of experiences and opportunities for all, removing barriers to learning so every child, even the most vulnerable, can flourish.
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support our most vulnerable children at All Saints Marsh who have high levels of need. Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting and nurturing the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and will be committed to making a profound difference. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will work alongside a highly passionate team who nurture and inspire our children. If you feel inspired by our mission and want to be part of a Trust where everything begins and ends with children, we would love to hear from you!
All Saints Marsh works closely with others in the ‘Torbay Hub’, Ellacombe, Ilsham and Warberry C of E Academy’s. This is a great opportunity to be part of a wider team of professionals who develop practice and share expertise. We are proud that we are a single organisation where professional development and growth is supported and celebrated. We are an organisation who want you to feel professionally nourished and one who supports wellbeing through our offer to you.
We encourage applications from people from all backgrounds and aim to have a workforce that represents the wider society that we serve. We champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging.
Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish.
We can offer you:
- An opportunity to make a profound difference to children’s lives
- A culture that takes work life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
- The chance to work as part of a collective in a values-led School Trust, a single organisation
- Opportunities to develop your career with our growing School Trust through our excellent development practice
- A strong, proactive wellbeing network across the School Trust

All our schools are each at the centre of their local communities and celebrate their individuality and distinctiveness. A core feature in how we work as a School Trust is our collective approach in delivering an exceptional education for all children. We do this through working very closely together in mutual support and challenge to empower excellence for our children, families, and the communities that we serve.
In short, our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
