We are looking for a proactive, caring and professional individual to work as part of our Supported Internship Team.
Your role would be to provide in-class support to enable learners with specific learning difficulties, disabilities or emotional difficulties to access their teaching and learning opportunities within the classroom environment; to provide individual/group support for learners experiencing a range of difficulties. You will also be supporting learners in their individual work placements across various employers within Exeter, under the supervision of the Team Leader/ teaching staff. Your role is to enable learners to perform job tasks within the workplace, and to maintain positive relationships with employers, college staff and learners.
Supported Internship Assistants need to be confident in supporting students with Maths and English, and IT.
