West Exmoor Federation, incorporating Lynton C of E (VA) Primary School, Parracombe C of E (VC) Primary School and Kentisbury Primary School.

You will be based at Kentisbury Primary School; the Early Years and Key Stage One base for both Kentisbury and Parracombe Schools. The site also accommodates our highly success pre-school, Little Berries. The federation is very well resourced, with all classes having at least one full time teaching assistant. Leadership opportunities may become available for the right individual.

- Have a proven track record of delivering consistently high standards of teaching and learning, including phonics and early reading;
- Be creative, enthusiastic and passionate about our children’s learning;
- Be committed to providing our children with an exciting and purposeful range of opportunities within and beyond the classroom;
- Demonstrate high expectations of achievement and behaviour which embrace a relational learning approach;
- Inspire and challenge children of varying abilities;
- Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills;
- Have a positive and innovative outlook and be able to exude an optimistic energy across the federation;
- Be a team player and committed towards assisting the federation in striving for excellence;
- Demonstrate initiative and embrace autonomy;
- Display commitment and flexibility towards all aspects of school life;
- Be fully supportive of the Christian vision and values embraced by our federation.
