Working as part of the Welfare Team, the internal room supervisor is an exciting role that is pivotal to supporting some of our most vulnerable young people. Supported by the Academy Leadership Team, you will take a key role in supporting pupils in Secondary who need support in working on their curriculum in an individual setting. You must be well organised, have the ability to prioritise work, be able to lead by example and to work on your own initiative. You will be a determined and resilient individual who believes that a culture of excellent behaviour for learning and respect is vital to the progress of our pupils and key to supporting them in unlocking their full potential. In fulfilling the role, you will be required to deal with pupils, parents/carers and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner. If you are the kind of person who strives for excellence, likes to do things well and who wants lots of opportunities to develop your own practice and try new methods, then this is the place for you.
The post will be offered subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks.
Education South West is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, social media and an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
