South Hams & West Devon are grappling with a Housing Crisis that they are determined to do all they can to tackle. To accelerate the delivery of affordable housing, whilst making the best use of stock, we are looking to recruit a Housing Needs Survey Case Officer. This brand-new role will play a key role in supporting the Affordable Housing team to provide up to date housing need evidence across the District and Borough. This will help to identify specific housing needs and prioritise site locations.
If you have excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, we want you to help us deliver on the aspirations of two ambitious Councils.
The successful candidate needs to be proficient in MS Office, a good team player, with excellent communication skills. You will carry out housing needs surveys across the district and borough to support planning applications for new affordable homes. This will help the housing outcomes of people in one of the most unaffordable areas of the Country.
If this sounds like a role for you, we would love to hear from you.
We have a unique and forward-thinking business model with a strong flexible working policy, as well as the ability to work in an agile way. Employees have the ability to work from home or other venues on a regular basis. If you think you have the right skills, capability and attitude to help us on this journey, we want to hear from you.
