Housing Lead - Devon and Torbay Combined County Authority

The Devon and Torbay Combined County Authority (DTCCA) is a newly established Authority established to drive economic growth and address the housing crisis in the region. We are committed to creating the right conditions for growth and inclusion, leveraging national and local investments to achieve maximum strategic impact.
This newly created role will oversee and lead on a range of strategic housing programmes and initiatives to support the DTCCA achieve its housing and infrastructure objectives. You will be liaising with housing authorities, registered providers, developers, delivery agencies and government bodies, to achieve maximum strategic impact from national and local investments.
Delivering the DTCCA’s housing priorities, you will work in partnership with key stakeholders to find solutions to unlock and accelerate housing growth, contributing to the economic and growth priorities of the DTCCA.
You will lead on engaging with funders, investors and developing bid submissions to secure funding to support delivery of our housing ambitions. In addition, you will own and work with partners implement the recommendations of the Devon Housing Commission and be responsible for the DTCCA's strategic relationship with Homes England and other key bodies.
