The Devon Moors Federation is a maintained five school federation formed a number of years ago. It consists of Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Shute and Spreyton Primary Schools.
Filleigh Primary School are looking for a Head of School and Year 5/6 Teacher to start in September 2023, or sooner if possible. The Executive Headteacher and Governors of this four class primary school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and outstanding practitioner to join our Senior Leadership Team in continuing to drive forward the standards in our school. You will lead a committed and enthusiastic team in partnership with the Executive Headteacher.
Our Head of School will:
• Be a dynamic and creative practitioner with high expectations and proven records of raising attainment;
• Have a clear understanding of what constitutes excellent teaching and learning and the ability to lead staff in these areas;
• Have vision with proven leadership, management and communication skills;
• Be passionate about developing community links and learning opportunities for all.
