We have an opportunity for a minimum 6-month secondment to manage and develop Devon County Council’s Education functions.
This opportunity is for a senior education leader to support and manage a smooth transition of the service currently commissioned through Babcock back into the local authority on August 1st, 2022, run, manage and develop the full service offers including school effectiveness, traded services, early years, missing from education, electively home educated, attendance and other school safeguarding functions, and data and performance reporting.
This role will also support the development of Devon’s response to the recent white paper, including opportunities for commissioning and school support across the region to get the best outcomes for children, specifically ensuring all children including those in adversity access the best education and fulfil their potential.
This will be a minimum of 3 days per week, starting as soon as possible.
