We have a strong, experienced and supportive planning team at Devon County Council, which you will immediately feel part of. As a Graduate Planner you will receive training and guidance across different areas of planning including determining planning applications, developing new policy, planning for minerals and waste, and the delivery of infrastructure. The role is varied, with different challenges to respond to every day.
We will support you to grow and develop as a Planner, including gaining a Masters Degree in Planning and working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Our career grade scheme, which you’ll be on from when you join, allows you to progress all the way through to a Senior Planner as you gain experience.
