Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Four Cornerstones Partner to lead the implementation of the Four Cornerstones framework across the Devon Local Area SEND Partnership. This role is pivotal in driving cultural change, ensuring that the voices, interests, and experiences of children, young people, and their families are integral to decision-making and shape the commissioning, delivery, and quality assurance of the education, health, and care services they receive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and implementation of the Four Cornerstones framework within the Local Area SEND Partnership.
- Fostering strong relationships with leaders in the local authority and across schools, health services, and other partners, in order to provide high support and high challenge, and work collaboratively.
- Influencing senior leaders across the SEND system (inc. within the Council, schools and health organisations) to ensure the Four Cornerstones are implemented and are delivering the required culture change needed to improve the experiences and outcomes of children and young people with SEND.
- Working with parents and carers, children and young people and local area practitioners to co-produce tools, processes and evaluation approaches for understanding the Local Area's effectiveness in embedding the Four Cornerstones.
- Leading the monitoring and evaluation of the Four Cornerstones framework and reporting progress and barriers to senior leaders across the system.
Requirements:
- Degree level or equivalent experience or evidence of continuing professional development, preferably in areas such as human behaviour, psychology, organisational change or a related field.
- Strategic and operational understanding of education, health, social care, and associated services for children and young people with SEND.
- Expertise in behavioural science or psychology, or experience of using behaviour change techniques and psychological principles.
- Proven experience in leading cultural change and implementing strategic frameworks.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
