Foundation Stage Practitioner (Explorers Nursery) - White Rock Primary School

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Foundation Stage Practitioner to join the existing team in our Explorers Nursery.

Your role would be to work as part of the EYFS team in supporting the overall development and care of our nursery pupils and contributing to the smooth running of the provision and the maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment. 

You will provide a high standard and quality of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and education for children in the Nursery, supporting and working with other members of the team to implement the daily routine.

You should be able to work in a flexible manner as a team member, showing appropriate initiative and assuming responsibility for a range of activities, as required.

Please note that this is an all year round equivalent contract and you will be required to work during the school holidays to cover business need. Your annual leave would be taken, by agreement, during term time and the Xmas closure period.

You should have: 
• Level 3 (or equivalent) Early Years Foundation Stage qualification
• GCSE  - Grade C or above (or equivalent) English and Maths qualifications
• A First Aid qualification would be desirable

The working hours are : Mondays to Fridays, all year round, on alternating daily hours: 7.15am to 3.15pm / 10.00pm - 6pm on a rolling rota as shown below. 

Week 1
Monday              7.15am – 3.15pm 
Tuesday             10.00am  - 6pm 
Wednesday         7.15am – 3.15pm 
Thursday            10.00am – 6pm 
Friday                 7.15am – 3.15pm 

Week 2
Monday              10.00am  - 6.00pm
Tuesday              7.15am – 3.15pm 
Wednesday        10.00am  - 6.00pm 
Thursday             7.15am – 3.15pm 
Friday                 10.00am  - 6.00pm
