First Aider and Administrator - Sidmouth College

Sidmouth College, recently judged in May 2022 by OFSTED to be a 'Good' school with outstanding features, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person with excellent organisation and communication skills to work with our students, administration and pastoral teams at the college in November 2022.

You will be responsible for the daily First Aid provision for the students and staff members at the college, including the recording and collating of data for the purpose of reporting. You will also be responsible for the management of IHCPs (Individual Health Care Plans) for all students and will involve liaison with parents, teachers and pastoral staff for a variety of purposes.

You will also assist with whole school administration duties in the busy main office, assisting with providing a reliable, consistent and efficient front-line reception service.

You will have the ability to work under pressure, need strong organisational/prioritising skills and the ability to work unsupervised and use initiative within the defined parameters. You should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience of working in an administrative role as well as excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are essential, and a knowledge of college administration systems would be advantageous. Possession of the First Aid at Work qualification would be desirable but not essential.
