Executive Assistant to Trust Leadership Team 

Role: To work closely with and provide strategic assistance to our small executive team.
Base:   Usually based at a Trust School (Plymouth or Torbay), with some home working
Contract: Permanent position within a growing Trust, term time only contract.

Connect is at a truly exciting juncture. Our 5 large, successful and inclusive Plymouth Schools are about to be joined by Cockington Primary, Preston Primary and Eden Park Primary in Torbay. As a result, the Trust will be educating 3300 children, operating 3 specialist SEN support centres as integral parts of our 8 schools and providing support and development for over 400 staff. Our Ocean Conservation Curriculum is really taking shape and our growing Trust will enable even more children to benefit from this knowledge about climate change and ocean literacy principles. 

The successful candidate will: 
• be a key part of the Trust Leadership Team and support the Trust’s educational, operational and growth aims
• be excellent at organising themselves and others
• have a high standard of education, GCSE/equivalent grade C or above in English and maths
• be capable of promoting partnerships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• ideally have experience of clerking meetings, providing high quality secretarial and administrative support 
• be highly organised, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure. 
• have the ability to drive between schools and meetings as required
• be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality and integrity at all times
• be self-motivated, resilient and have a sense of humour!

Key responsibilities will include:
•  Providing high quality administrative and strategic support to the CEO & COO
• Company Secretary/Governance Professional for the Trust 
• Taking a lead role in managing Trust social media and liaison with marketing/other external partners to advise Trust and School leaders of best practice
•  Developing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including Trustees, governors, headteachers, shared team, administrators, and other Trust staff
