We have a position available for a primary, special or secondary trained colleague to join us, from September 2023, to support in the development of our Key Stage 3 curriculum and to specialise in teaching both those children who are behind with their age related expectations, and those with SEMH needs to join us from September 2023. We have a great respect for the work of our colleagues in all phases and settings and the work they do to develop the reading skills of our learners from early years through to Key Stage 2. We believe that the right candidate will bring an additional layer of expertise to our excellent team, and facilitate the next stage in the development of our rigorous and carefully sequenced curriculum.
Torquay Academy’s results have improved dramatically over the past few years thanks to our brilliant teachers. We know that the results can improve further and we are looking for people who are committed, passionate and highly motivated to join our team.
Primary trained colleagues have enjoyed teaching a subject in greater depth and some have gone on to teach GCSE as well.
