Chances is an OFSTED registered ‘Good’ school. We provide short-term alternative education provision for students who, for a range of reasons, are struggling in their mainstream school. After time at our provision, with the support of our great teachers and skilled youth workers, most students reintegrate back into their mainstream school successfully. Some of the students that attend Chances are working below the expected level and this has created an exciting opportunity to support them with additional intervention outside of the classroom.
Chances is part of Space DYS - our core values are:
★ Resilience
★ Respect
★ Opportunity
Do you want to help us unlock potential with young people and their communities? Do you love a challenge?
Chances are seeking a dedicated and passionate school teacher to join our provision and lead English across the curriculum. The successful candidate’s main goal will be to create a supportive learning environment which will help our students meet their goals. Through innovative and diverse methods, the successful candidate will teach students through their secondary curriculum and also drive the importance of reading.
