Working together to support people, patients and carers using Emergency Department (ED) Services at Torbay Hospital, Teignbridge CVS, CDT Torbay and Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust invite applications for these new posts based at ED in the Acute Hospital in Torquay. The Partnership support a number of Voluntary Sector programmes across the hospital landscape of Torbay and South Devon including onsite hospital discharge support workers, carer support workers, High Intensity User support programmes and community hospital discharge teams and now look to widen that voluntary sector offer to the ED at Torbay Hospital.
Working in the Emergency Department, 2 post holders will engage visitors and patients, their carers and wider families to understand the reasons for their visit and where they might be supported with additional services that are available in or from local communities.
