Devon County Council is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic administrator to support the County Council’s identified priority and growth sectors. The role will work in a project engaging employers in a range of skills and employment training programmes.
The Skills service area (within Economy, Enterprise and Skills), are a dynamic team delivering skills projects for Devon's emerging or priority economic sectors. We work collaboratively to enabling social mobility for Devon's residents and support our region's organisations to develop and grow through skills policy implementation.
As a member of the Economy, Enterprise and Skills Service, you will play a vital part in strengthening our economy, encouraging new business growth and supporting a thriving county. The successful candidate will be a key part of the Train 4 Tomorrow Skills Bootcamps team. Their tasks will include:
- collation of information, maintenance of action and decision logs and associated records and management reports.
- operate and maintain, with minimum supervision, a range of statutory, regulatory and corporate administrative business processes and systems
- production of relevant documentation, action and decision logs and the design and creation of presentations.
- Support meetings and workshops, including booking venues, minute taking, maintaining action and decision logs, arranging meetings and helping to design and facilitate their structure and outcomes
- Utilise databases to track and monitor spend and activity, such return of project evaluation reports.
