Kiddywinks Nursery are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join their team. The successful applicant must hold a DfE approved early years and childcare qualification at level 3.
Duties will include:
- To work alongside all policies and procedures correctly and to ensure Kiddywinks ethos and values are upheld at all times
- To assist in making the provision and the children are the best they can be at all times
- Promoting all areas of the foundation stage
- Helping children reach the next steps
- Interacting and supporting children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning
- Planning the indoor and outdoor environment in order to provide a positive context for learning and teaching
- Provide experiences and activities that are challenging but achievable
- Working with others to plan and co-ordinate work
- Meeting requirements for the observation, assessment and recording of children’s development
- Sharing knowledge gained with other practitioners and parents
- Organising time and material resources
- Using creative and practical skills to prepare learning materials
- Attending in service training
- Organising and attending outings
- Keeping the nursery in a clean and tidy state
- To ensure confidentiality at all times
- To attend regular staff meetings.
General care of children to include:
- Changing nappies
- Feeding
- Cleaning
- All other essential needs
