Uplyme Pre-school are looking for an Early Years Practitioner / Assistant, Level 2 or 3, to join our team.

We need an enthusiastic and confident candidate with excellent communication skills who has a passion for working with young children.
The role will be to work as part of a friendly team under the direction of the Playleader, providing a high standard of physical, social and emotional care for the children in our setting.
The role is approximately 22 hours per week, four days a week, term time only. This will be a permanent contract with a company pension. Pay will be between of £10.50 - £11.50 per hour for applicants over 22 years of age dependent on qualifications and experience.
The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a Level 2 DFE recognised early years and childcare qualification, or be working towards completion. We would consider someone willing to study towards a qualification whilst working in the setting if they can demonstrate a willingness to learn, they are accountable for their own development, and seek out opportunities to learn new skills.
Previous experience of working or caring for children and an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage is required.
