Early Years Educator - Sunflower Day Nursery

Sunflower Day Nursery are looking for an Early Years Educator to join their team. 

The successful applicant must hold a DfE approved early years and childcare qualification at level 3. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

• To provide safe and creative play opportunities
• To ensure all toys used are in good condition and remove any that are broken or need to be repaired
• To set up and pack away equipment after each session
• Attend regular staff meetings.
• Ensure equipment boxes are kept tidy and stocked up at all times.
• Contribute towards the personal care of all children
• Work as part of a team including contributing to activity planning, team discussions and children’s development.
• Liaise with Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) as appropriate
• Some lifting of children and resources will be required
