If you are enthusiastic, love to have fun and enjoy being outdoors in the mud, being creative, an inspirational storyteller and sing a song or two (even out of tune!), you are the right person to join on team of well established, qualified staff.
You will gain experience working with all age-groups from 3 months to 4 years old, discovering the stages of child development and how to create a fun and stimulating environment to encourage children to reach their next steps.
To train towards Level 3 Early Years Educator you must hold GCSE Maths and Literacy, or Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and Literacy.
Our apprentices are an integral part of our nursery and to work alongside our team in staff:child ratio; candidates must reach the requirements for staffing as set out in the EYFS.
Your assessor will visit you at nursery, working with you to achieve your modules, and we will also provide training in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.
Our on-site kitchen provides meals for staff working during lunchtime – everything from a hearty roast to a warming curry!
We endeavour to be a sustainable nursery and expect our team to be passionate about caring for our planet too. Incentives are available for staff who walk or cycle to work.
