A rare opportunity has arisen in our team. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to come aboard!

Then this may be the opportunity you are looking for. We are looking for an enthusiastic, happy and dynamic Deputy Manager to join our team.
Purpose of the post:
- To lead a team in developing best practice across the setting
- To work under the direction of the manager and deputise and run the setting in her absence
- To support the aims and objectives of the Setting and assist the manager in the organization of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years
- To provide high standards of childcare and education, and implement the EYFS statutory and non-statutory framework
- To ensure the Setting maintains a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development
- Liaise with parents/carers, other family members and staff to help ensure that the particular needs of children are met and that parental choice is considered in terms of care given
- To direct and support staff as agreed by the Setting manager/owner
- To assist the manager in showing parents/carers around the Setting facilities and sending out information
- To Assist with the implementation of administrative procedures involved with registration, place allocation, and other related matters if required
- To implement the planning and organisation of staffing schedules and holiday rota’s to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with Local Authority guidelines and Setting procedures when the manager is away
- To become the DDSO for Safeguarding and step in the DSO absence for safeguarding concerns, following the settings Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies
