As the Deputy Childcare Manager, you will become a proactive member of our Ofsted-registered Kidzone team, by playing a crucial role in assisting with the smooth running of our well-established Pre-School, After School & Holiday Club, services.

About the role
As Deputy Childcare Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our childcare setting. Working closely with the Childcare Manager, you will:
- Support the delivery of outstanding care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated practitioners to provide high quality, child centred approach
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider community
- Contribute to planning and implementing innovative activities tailored to children’s individual needs
- Step up as Acting Manager when needed

Qualifications and experience required
- Level 3 qualification in early years and childcare, or equivalent, is essential
- Minimum 9 months in an after school/holiday club or pre-school setting, with an understanding of the Play Work Principles and EYFS Curriculum
- Minimum 9 months in a senior/leadership role (desirable)
- A deep understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for childcare and making a positive impact on children and families
