Located on the stunning Jurassic Coast and with the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close by, Exmouth Community College is one of the largest secondary schools in the country with over 2300 students.
The College is seeking to appoint a Deaf Inclusion Worker with a Level 4 qualification in BSL and preferably with Level 2 Cued Speech. The post holder will be required to work as a Deaf Inclusion Worker for a profoundly deaf student with cochlear implants, to enable them to access the curriculum through spoken English, British Sign Language and Cued Speech. The student is currently in Year 9 at Exmouth Community College.
The post is linked to a student with an Education, Health and Care Plan. The post is offered on a fixed term, job share basis.
