Creative Arts Therapist: Art/Music/Drama - School for Inspiring Talents (Life Chance)

We are keen to appoint a fully qualified, enthusiastic, skilled and self-motivated Creative Arts Therapist, specialising in either Art, Music or Drama to support our students at the School for Inspiring Talents (SfIT).

School for Inspiring Talents is an independent therapeutic day school in Devon that supports students aged 5-16 who have experienced childhood difficulties or trauma. All of our students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

At SfIT, we are passionate about providing high quality support, care and nurture to allow our inspiring young people to truly flourish. Our unique, therapeutic approach to education helps to ensure that our students have their social, emotional and mental health needs fully met and supports them to thrive.

It is our intention that every student will achieve their potential and the role of Creative Arts Therapist is integral to this vision. The ideal candidate will work with an integrative evidence-based approach and be a team player who is able to work independently within the school to manage their own caseload. They will be a reflective and empathic practitioner and will work as part of our skilled Multi-Disciplinary Team and and will be supported by our Head of MDT.
