We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, conscientious person to join our team at Brocks Farm, Teigngrace, Devon TQ12 6LW as a Core Worker.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a young person’s Core Worker, you will work on an individual basis with students aged between 4 and 25. This role would suit somebody who may have worked as an HLTA. The successful candidate will need to be able to build a therapeutic alliance and work with children and young people to help them feel safe and secure and to reduce anxiety. They will also need to work with Teachers and our in-house therapeutic team in order to follow care plans, educational schemes of work and write reports.
We encourage core workers to use their skills and passions to engage young people, for example construction and mechanics, arts and crafts, land and animal based skills, physical activities and hobbies.
