We have an exciting opportunity for a complex needs assistant to join our team from January 2023.
This post is temporary whilst funding is available (initially one year with a view to extend, if possible). The post will be reviewed in the Autumn Term 2023. Part time working will be considered.
The ideal candidate will work as part of the support team under the direction of the class teacher and alongside our post staff. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with pupils at the earliest stages of development with complex health and medical needs. You will be organised, have the ability to work flexibility and with initiative, and will have excellent written and communication skills. You must be able to organise a large team of staff and manage complex medical needs.
Mill Water is an all-age special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism, multi-sensory impairment and speech, language and communication difficulties.
