Do you have the energy and enthusiasm to work together with Devon’s people and communities? You will deliver a portfolio of projects, including frontline work with communities. We are currently recruiting for a number of rural community-based Community Development Officers to work on a new Department of Transport funded programme “Tackling Loneliness with Transport”.

Our Community Development Officers are adaptable and innovative, with a ‘can do’ attitude.

You will need to be:
- Passionate about asset-based community development;
- Experienced in place-based community engagement;
- Brilliant at communicating, facilitating meetings and training events;
- A great organiser and self-starter;
- A capable IT user.

You will play a key role in supporting us to deliver our vision of dynamic communities shaping their own futures.
