We are looking for an enthusiastic nature champion, who combines creativity and strong writing and digital skills with a highly organised approach to their work. The successful candidate will join DWT’s Communications team, providing engaging content for our website, e-newsletters and social media channels and general support for Trust marketing and communications activities. You would be responsible for keeping our website up to date, creating content, including video, for social media posts, delivering online events, co-ordinating responses to enquiries including press and supporting volunteers to respond to enquiries through our help desk.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a similar communications role (via work or volunteering experience) and demonstrable ability to create engaging content. They will be happy working in an environment that often requires quick responses and changing priorities. They will be passionate about Devon’s wildlife and will be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits including:
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays;
• Agile working arrangements including home working;
• Flexitime system;
• Contributory pension scheme (conditions apply);
• Death in Service cover;
• Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP);
• Cycle to work scheme;
• Training and development opportunities.
This is fixed term appointment for 12 months, contractually based at Cricklepit Mill.
We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this role. We are an inclusive organisation that is seeking to involve more diverse audiences in our work.
