College and Occupational Health Nurse (In-house) - Exeter College

  • Multiple Locations
  • Multiple Terms
  • £35,835 - £36,705 pro rata (a higher salary may be available for successful candidates who are already fully qualified as an Occupational Health Nurse)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dual role working with students and staff at Exeter College to help us deliver a first-class health and wellbeing service across our large and diverse cohort.

This is a varied role. As College Nurse, you will provide appropriate assessment, support and training, in relation to the management of student health needs. You will also take responsibility for every aspect of Occupational Health from case management and health surveillance to delivering health promotion. You will be working alongside employees and managers to provide expert evidence-based advice and guidance across the full Occupational Health remit.

If you are a registered nurse with experience of working within Occupational Health (or if you hold an OH qualification), we would like to hear from you.

This is a stand-alone role. Experience of working autonomously and as part of a team is essential.

The role also attracts some excellent benefits, including:
- The opportunity to join an industry leading pension scheme, the Local Government Pension scheme;
- Term time only contract;
- Access to a staff benefits and discounts platform, including discounts with many major retailers;
- Staff development days scheduled throughout the year;
- On site gym, H2B spa and @34 Restaurant;
- Access to our Employee Assistance Programme;
- Cycle to work scheme which allows you to buy a new bike but spread the cost of it throughout the year.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Emma Wood on 01392 400362.

Exeter College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS.

Exeter College is committed to promoting equality of opportunity and access for all, irrespective of age, background, race, gender, religion, ability, disability, or sexuality. We welcome applications for employment from the whole community.
