An Daras Multi Academy Trust have an exciting opportunity to work in one of their successful schools. St Catherine’s CofE Primary School was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2019 and received a Good in SIAMs in May 2022.
The Trust and the Local Governing Body are seeking to a class teacher to join this motivated and passionate teaching team to start in January 2024. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm, commitment, empathy and dedication to work in our forward thinking and dynamic church school. The successful applicant will be ambitious for the children, high-performing and able to demonstrate consistency and resilience with a clear commitment to the school’s church ethos.
St Catherine’s is a one-form entry church school and attached nursery class with around 230 children on roll from the ages of 2-11, situated in Launceston, Cornwall. The school is known to be a successful and caring setting where the members of staff form a dedicated, hard-working team. Our pupils are well-behaved, engaged and hard working. Our staff team is our greatest resource and the continuous professional development of all staff is a priority, well established across the Trust. The combination of passionate and talented teaching and support staff and good facilities create a positive learning environment, where the Christian values and aspiration for our pupils underpin the pursuit for improvement.
