Cedarwood Montessori is offering a unique opportunity to join its small team as a class teacher. We are seeking someone who is empathic and dynamic and places individual potential and family partnerships at the centre of their practice.
The role will involve:
- Taking responsibility for a class of mixed age, home educated children, ensuring progress in core subjects
- Use of creative enquiry to ignite the desire to participate in, and develop a love of, learning
- Ensuring holistic development of physical, emotional, cultural, social and intellectual developmental needs
- Working proactively to develop positive relationships with children, families and the wider team
- Pro-actively fostering and safeguarding children’s welfare
